For South Africa, the dry winter months from May to October are ideal for wildlife safaris. For East Africa, the dry seasons from June to October and December to March are perfect to witness the Great Migration. North Africa is best visited from October to April.
Africa spans several time zones, but most countries are around 10 to 12 hours behind New Zealand Standard Time (NZST, GMT +12).
South Africa is a country that dazzles with diversity — from wild savannahs to arty, edgy cityscapes to the turquoise coastline and white sands of your dreams. Watch elephants, giraffes and rhinos roam at sunrise in Kruger National Park, feel the sea breeze on your face at Cape Point, or hike Table Mountain for panoramic views that will render you utterly speechless.
"I have worked with Maxine for a number of years, and she has consistently been helpful in providing a range of flight options. She always takes the time to find the best deals to suit our needs and makes the booking process straightforward and stress-free. I would highly recommend Maxine to friends and family and appreciate her excellent service and attention to detail."
Jason and Niki"Gave options, was quick and efficient."
Edward"She was fast in putting a quote together - same day we spoke about it. She had 3 strong options for me all within budget and to the brief I had explained. Everything was confirmed within the week for a very short turnaround holiday in a place with limited accomodation due to how last minute the trip was. I definitely recommend working with Jaz, this is the second holiday she has booked for us and won't be the last!"

Travel ignites the fire in my belly, daily and I'm lucky enough to turn holiday dreams into unforgettable experiences.
I specialise in family travel, group getaways, solo adventures, and special interest trips, helping clients craft memories that last a lifetime.
A recent highlight was travelling to New York with my sister, followed by Japan, and a Christmas in Bali with my family.
Whether I'm working with long-time clients or meeting new faces each week, I'm always excited to bring personalised travel dreams to life.
Passionate about what I do, I'm always ready for the next adventure - both for my clients and my own family.

I have been in the travel industry since 1987 as a tour leader, travel advisor, traveler visiting the globe, and now Owner Operator of House of Travel Dunedin City.
My travels have encompassed 105 countries initially using all forms of transport from a double decker bus around Europe to rickshaws in Asia to horses in the Middle East and dugout canoes in Central Africa with camels, elephants, donkeys and bicycles in-between.
I am more than willing to travel in a lot more comfort these days visiting the Pacific, Myanmar, India, Vietnam, Ireland, China, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan, USA, Cayman Islands, Zimbabwe, Turkiye and Malta in recent years.
I believe the transition is similar for people of my generation who still yearn to visit anywhere and everywhere but enjoy a bit, or a lot, more luxury. As such I have developed an in-depth knowledge of the whole spectrum of travel options and regularly come up with solutions to the most complex of travel plans.
