Itinerary

On arrival at Kuching International airport, meet your Tour Executive who will assist you and transfer to the hotel.
Stay three nights in Kuching.

After an early breakfast proceed to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre to view orphaned or rescued semi-wild orangutans in a natural setting. Later in the afternoon continue to board the MV Equatorial for a 90 minute Sunset River cruise on the Sarawak River.

Today, drive to Bengoh Village, the starting point of your kayaking adventure. Paddle along a river that winds through limestone hills draped in tropical rainforest. Enjoy a picnic lunch and visit the Bidayuh and Semadang areas before returning to Kuching.

Today after an early breakfast, drive to Batang Ai reservoir. Along the way
stop for lunch and stroll around the shops at Lachau Bazaar. The, board a local longboat and travel upriver to the Iban village. The afternoon is yours, free to explore and in the evening visit Nanga Sumpa longhouse. Relax on the ruai (common veranda) and spend time with the Iban people. Interact with the community and learn about their culture. Stay two nights at Nanga Sumpa lodge.

After your breakfast, hike the jungle trails along the river to another community before continuing upriver by longboat. Along the way, take time to relax, swim, and enjoy the beautiful Enseluai Waterfall and surrounding rainforest. After lunch, trek for 1–2 hours through orangutan habitat along a rainforest trail before arriving at the jungle camp. Spend two nights at Lubok Kasai Jungle Camp.

This morning, depart between 8.30am and 9.00am for a trek along one of the rainforest trails in search of orangutans and other wildlife, including pig-tailed macaques, hornbills, and a variety of birdlife. Return to camp for lunch, then spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge or enjoying a swim in the river. At around 4.00pm, set out on a 1–2 hour walk along the Lalang River trail for another opportunity to spot orangutans.

After breakfast, travel downriver to the Batang Ai Lake jetty before continuing overland to Kuching, with lunch served en-route. The evening is yours to relax or explore the town at leisure. Spend the next three nights at Damai Beach Resort.

These days are free to explore on your own or relax at the beach.

After breakfast, the tour finishes with a direct transfer to the airport where you board a flight for your onward journey.

Deposit of $500 per person required at the time of booking, the price mentioned is for low season and excludes festival dates where a surcharge may apply.
