Discover Lombok

This morning you'll be picked up at your hotel at South Bali area to be transferred to Denpasar Airport where you will board a flight to Lombok. (Flights are at an additional cost)  After a half hour flight, you will arrive in Lombok Airport, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the island’s west coast. You can enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Your next stop is Sukarare village, known for its textile weaving. Here you will have the opportunity to observe the techniques used to create the intricately patterned songket cloth and you can try it on your own. Explore the village, including a short walk through the rice fields and try making surabi, traditional snacks on your own.

Continue to the southern shores of Lombok where some of the island’s best beaches can be found including Kuta. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. 

Before returning to your hotel, make a stop at another Sasak village in Ende. Here, most residents still live in traditional houses constructed from grass thatch, mud and cow dung. Sample seasonal fruits and traditional jamu during your stroll around the intricating Sasak houses. After exploring this beautiful traditional village, transfer back to your hotel.

Your tour starts with an early morning transfer from your Lombok hotel to Teluk Kodek harbor where the boat docks to leave for Gili Trawangan, the largest of the three Gili islands. This trio of islands is surrounded by clear waters abounding in tropical fish and colourful corals and perfect for those interested in ocean inhabitants. Explore Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan by wooden boat. You will also have the opportunity to jump into the water and snorkel among the marine life.

Snorkel in some of the renowned spots such as Sunrise Point in Gili Air, Turtle Point, Statue Point and Blue Coral in Gili Meno. Depending on the time, lunch will usually take place in Gili Air.

Afterwards, head to Gili Trawangan to relax and explore the island. There is no motorised transport which adds to the easy going pace of life here - perhaps take a trip around the island by traditional horse and cart (cidomo) or rent a bicycle and explore independently for the opportunity to meet the locals and experience a piece of tropical island life. Cruise back to Lombok mainland then return to your hotel.

There is an option to visit one of region’s prominent pearl farms in Teluk Nare at an additional cost.

Today is your last day in Lombok. After having breakfast at the hotel, get ready to be driven to Lombok Airport to board on your flight back to Bali. Upon arrival in Bali, be transferred to your next hotel on the South Beach area. (B)
