As the proud Owner Operator of House of Travel Nelson, I lead a small but passionate team dedicated to taking care of all your travel needs.

I primarily work on the Orbit World Travel side of our business, specialising in business and group travel. But as a traveller myself, I love chatting with customers and the team about their upcoming adventures — there’s nothing better than sharing in the excitement of a great trip!

Travel has played a huge role in my life. From years of family holidays to the Gold Coast and Fiji, where the kids spent hours in the pool or on the playground, to unforgettable highlights like Disneyland (they were 10 and 12 — the perfect age!), followed by a relaxing week in Mexico. These days, with older kids, we’re seeking more adventure. Our recent trip to Vietnam was a standout — from the vibrant energy of Ho Chi Minh City to the peaceful beauty of Hoi An's lanterns and Halong Bay. If you haven’t been, it’s a must! 

Next on my list? Europe. While I’ve done a couple of quick trips in the past, I’m keen to take the time to explore the diverse cultures and rich history of the places I’ve spent years helping others discover.

After achieving my New Zealand Level 5 & 6 Diplomas in Travel and Tourism, I’m excited to have joined the team at House of Travel Rotorua back in December 2022 - not even Covid could derail my dreams of becoming a travel consultant.  

My years of studying and my personal experience of travelling to Australia on family holidays has fuelled my passion for creating unforgettable holidays. I spend my days designing holidays within New Zealand, Australia, the South Pacific and Asia, and I absolutely love arranging cruise holidays. Working with you to create your perfect getaway is what I enjoy the most, so bring me your dream holiday, and we can build it together! With over 20 countries visited and four group tours under my belt, I understand just how impactful a well-planned journey can be. Each trip has given me new insights—not only into different cultures and places—but also into what truly makes a travel experience memorable.

I genuinely enjoy the planning process: mapping out itineraries, uncovering hidden gems, and making sure every detail is just right. It’s this same thoughtfulness and enthusiasm I bring to every trip I help design. Whether it’s a relaxed escape, a cultural deep dive, or an adventure-filled group tour, my goal is to create travel experiences that are exciting, seamless, and tailored to you.

When I’m not travelling, you’ll usually find me being a proud (and slightly crazy) dog lady—spending time with my three dogs and competing in dog agility. My love of animals flows into my travel values too, and I’m a big believer in travelling ethically and responsibly, with care and respect for local communities, cultures, and wildlife.
