New route, new possibilities!

My favourite thing about this job being able to explore and research lots of cool destinations daily and creating some cool itineraries is really exciting.

I love hearing all about the trip and my client’s experiences when they get home but it’s certainly making my book-it “list” turn into a novel.

My favourite place I have visited is Puerto Rico - from the beautiful white-sand beaches and the best coffee & chocolate I’ve ever had, this country is so rich with culture. It’s sure to be a memorable port stop on your next Caribbean Cruise.

The next place I would love to explore is South America - from Argentina, along the Amazon from Rio, Brazil, Venezuela and Peru!

I’m someone who’s always had a deep passion for travel and a genuine love of connecting people with the world around them.

I’ve been fortunate to live in several countries and have spent many months backpacking through South America, Europe and Asia, experiences that have given me a deep appreciation for different cultures, landscapes, and ways of life. For me, travel is more than just visiting new places, it’s about creating meaningful connections and helping others experience the transformative power of discovering the world.

Whether it’s sharing stories, planning journeys, or offering guidance, I’m passionate about helping others create their own unforgettable travel experiences.

In recent years, I have taken to much more adventurous travel, heading to Central Asia and exploring Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, exploring much of Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Shanghai and looking forward to our next adventures in Africa.

I love travelling with my family and seeing my teenage girls minds blown by the experiences they have in different countries - different ways of living, different foods, different cultures, amazing sites (and sights!) and really seeing what is important to other people outside of NZ.

I am passionate about sustainable travel for the future. 

My entire career of 30 years has been in travel sales and tourism. I have travelled overseas more than a hundred times to over 70 countries and 6 continents for personal holidays, business and leisure.

I've made my home in London, Dorset, Chamonix and Auckland. I settled back in my home town of Christchurch after being away for five years. 

I love travel and how it enriches lives and provides a livelihood for people and communities around the globe. I love helping to inspire and inform clients, who care about the impact their choices have on local communities and the environment, and who want to have a great holiday. 

Sustainable doesn't mean you can't have luxury! My personal holidays always have a sense of adventure, you will find me on a beach or mountain or taking in a cultural experience to make the most of a destination. 

I personally rate train travel one of the best ways to casually explore, there's nothing I love more than checking in at a downtown railway station off to a new destination. I think travel provides new perspectives and respect for different cultures and values are par for the course. We can always find common ground when we are prepared to go out of our comfort zone.
